Plastic pall ring is made from heat resistant and chemical corrosion resistant plastics, including polyethylene (PE), polypropylene (PP), reinforced polypropylene (RPP), polyvinyl chloride (PVC), chloridized polyvinyl chloride (CPVC) and polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF). It has features such as high free volume, low pressure drop, low mass-transfer unit height, high flooding point, uniform gas-liquid contact, small specific gravity, high mass transfer efficiency and so on, and the application temperature in media ranges from 60to 150. For these reasons it is widely used in the packing towers in petroleum industry, chemical industry, alkali-Chloride industry, coal gas industry and environmental protection, etc.

Types
Stainless steel pall rings
It (also named as ss pall rings) performs high loading and low pressure drop together with an efficient high mass transfer and better liquid/gas distribution. The stainless material brings edge to resist against corrosion.
Plastic pall rings
It is offered in a variety of plastics such as PVDF, Polypropylene, HDPE, PVC, and Glass Filled Polypropylene. Commonly available in natural color but their are manufacturers who accepts customized orders.
Metal pall ring
Among all pall rings made up of different materials, this metal pall ring is the one that is mechanically sturdy with high resistance to high temperature and fouling.
Polypropylene pall rings
This is the most common pall ring packing made up of plastic. It is also named pp pall rings. It can resist to more than 100 degrees celsius but has a lower thermal deformation temperature.
Ceramic pall rings
Ceramic pall rings has a strong resistance against alkali and high temperature.
