Fiberglass Pultruded Structure GRP FRP I-Beam Shape Pultrusion Profiles
Fiberglass I Beam is a type of fiber-reinforced plastic made from glass fiber combined with thermosetting resin. It is lightweight, but stronger than many metals, corrosion resistant, can easily be moulded into any shape and used for purposes ranging from electrical insulation, storage, x-ray transmission, tool handles, and construction. FRP Pultruded profile are widely used as structures in the chemical and corrosion resistance industry, cooling tower, parking lots, sidewalk of bridge, farming shed and so on.The common products include round rods, round tubes, flat bars, square tubes, angles bars, Uchannel,I profiles ,T profiles and other kinds of special profiles with same cross section.

Pultrusion Technique
Pultrusion is a continuous process using fiber reinforcements with thermosetting resin matrices. Pre-selected reinforcement materials, such as fiberglass roving, mat, woven fabrics or stitched fabric, are drawn through a resin bath in which all material is thorougly impregnated with a liquid thermosetting resin. Typical resins include polyesters, vinyl esters and phenolics. The wet-out fiber is formed to the desired geometric shape and pulled into a heated steel die. Once inside the die, the resin cure is initiated by controlling precise elevated temperature. The laminate solidifies in the exact cavity shape of the die, as it is continuously pulled by the pultrusion machine. Most any constant cross-section part can be pultruded.

Features and Benefits of FRP Structural Shapes
1.Corrosion resistant. Won't rot, rust or corrode.
2.Strong yet lightweight. Helps save on transportation.
3.Virtually maintenance-free. Durable and weather-resistant for a longer life cycle.
4.Fire-retardant and nonconductive. Helps create a safer environment.
5.Dimensionally stable. Won't shrink, swell, warp or bow.
6.Highly consistent. Strength, appearance and quality are the same from piece to piece.
7.Easy to fabricate and install. FRP can be cut, drilled and assembled with standard tools.
8.Non-leaching. Does not require environmentally hazardous preservatives.
9.Fast turnaround. Most in-stock orders are shipped within the next business day.
