Duct rodder ,also called fiberglass duct rodder,is a powerful auxiliary tool used for rope traction
in the pipe. Smooth and flexible surface of the duct rodder can easily make the rope or cable
pass through the narrow channel. Glass fiber reinforced plastic wire threading appliance has
the advantages of saving time, saving effort and improving efficiency. It is selected as the spe-
cial tool for pulling cables and optical cables in many fields such as telecommunications, power
industry and construction. It also can measure the length of the pipeline, pipe cleaning, accep-
tance of pipeline.
Component
Duct rodder frame , used to place, push and draw back the fiberglass rod, commonly is composed of eight components: fiberglass rod,copper head, rod guide, rod grapple, grip, steel frame,Brake,Wheel. The welded frame, made of high quality steel, is strong enough to withstand the weight of the fiberglass rod. With powder coated or galvanized, the frame is rust resistant and corrosion resistant. At the same time, duct rodderwith different color available can suit customers' various requirements. With the help of frame,the duct rodder is more easier to move at the job site. In addi- tion, duct rodder with hand operated brake and rubber wheel also available.Generally, the medium sized duct rodder will be equipped with polyurethane wheels and large sized duct rodder will be equipped with rubber wheel.
Copper wire diameter is 0.5-0.51mm. 1-4
copper wires can be added to the rod with
diameter less than 6, and the rod with
diameter more than 6 can be custom-ized.
Steel wire diameter is 0.8-1.1mm. A glass
fiber rod can be added with a steel wire,
which can be customized according to
customer needs.
The copper head
High quality traction copper head fine and smooth corrosion resis-
tance more durable. We connect the copper head with the rod by
hydraulic compression technology and the copper head will never
drop from the rod during using.According to the different diameter
with different specifications of the head.
Meter marks
Meter marks on the protective layer of the rod for measuring
distance, printed by professional printing machine.Help the
user read the meters to know how it goes.
