Fiberglass manhole covers are constructed from thermostet material so that they can last longer. The product used in its production consists of cross-linked polyesters that are combined with fiberglass reinforced materials for it to withstand wear-and-tear from heavy load vehicular traffic. It is 40 percent lighter as compared to the traditional Precast Concrete and the Cast iron covers. fiberglass Manhole covers provides more than 5 times in compressive strength. This extremely tough material can bear constant exposure to extreme weather without sacrificing aesthetics or security.
The fiberglass manhole covers have been tested thoroughly as per the standards of BS EN 124 1994 and AASHTO M306 for utility and drainage services.

Light Duty- Test load - 2.5 tons
This is suitable for use in residential developments, especially for the areas that are accessible to bicycles and pedestrians and also occasional light automobile traffic. These fiberglass manhole covers can also be used as "Inspection Chambers".
Medium Duty - Test Load- 10 tons
This is appropriate for use under medium-duty vehicular traffic, passenger vehicles and car of comparable weight which includes car parking areas.
Heavy Duty- Test Load- 20 tons
These are suitable for use in carriageways with fast moving traffic including city trunk roads, trucks, and bus terminals that have heavy duty vehicular traffic.
