SMC/FRP/GRP Panel Tanks are an ideal way to store water. The panel tank is a modular system, which then enables a tank of any desired size to be assembled and constructed. It is assembled by moulding single panels, sealing material, metallic parts and
pipeline. Water tanks could be custom-made with capacity from 0.125 m3 to 1000m3 according to customer's needs. Generally the height should be no more than 4 meters, the length and width can be limitless. GRP Tanks are highly durable and can withstand heavy impact, weather, loads etc. Foodgrade resin will be used for GRP rectangle tank which store drinking water.

Accessories

The sectional panel tank shall consist of 4' x 4' or 1 meter x 1 meter panel manufactured from 1.5mm to 4.0mm thickness according to requirement.

1.1 Material
The panel is made of Q235 steel by hydraulic punching machine;
The size of the panel is :1220*1220mm, 1000*1000mm,1000*500mm, 500*500mm;
The thickness of the panel mainly includes: 5mm, 4.5mm, 3mm, 2.5mm, 2mm, 1.5mm. It is different according to the tank dimension.

 2. Flanges 
The sectional panels shall be pressed to double flanges at the angles of 45 degree and 90 degree to the face of the plate on four sides.
 3. Reinforcement Method 
 All tanks are internally braced with angle stays to endure the rigidity of the tank when filled with the water. TheTop panel is supported by top panel support, which shall be made of stainless steel grade 304 or 316 materialaccording to requirement.
 
 4. Accessories
1. Bolt. nut & washers stainless steel 304 material.
2. Sealing material Non-toxic P.V.C foam tape shall be used in between the joints.
3. Covers The tank cover shall be constructed from 1.2mm to 3.0mm of thickness stainless steel 304 material according to the requirement.
4.  Ladders and Level Indicator: Internal & external ladder shall be made of stainless steel grade 304 material.

Installation

With the right equipment and personnels, you can assemble the tank quickly. For a successful tank installation, you need at least five workers, one of whom should be qualified.

Here is a brief installation guide:

After getting a permit to install on a particular site, ensure you have all the required equipment.
They should be free of damage to prevent a substandard finish.
Check that the area of installation is level.
Assemble the beams horizontally on the foundation or steel tower to form the skid base.
Install the bottom panel carefully on the skid base.
Install the side panels. Once the side panels are in place, you can put up the panel partitions.
The panels should be joined using bolts and nuts, as per the manufacturer's recommendations.
Install the tie rods and stainless steel partitions to support the roof.
Assemble the top cover/roof.
Install internal and external stainless steel ladders.
Tie all stainless steel nuts and bolts with a washer.

After completing the installation and getting approval from a consultant, carry out a water leakage test. Connect a temporary water supply pipe and let the water stay in for at least 24 hours. Make sure you have enough air vents. If there are any leakages after the test period, rectify and seek approval.
