Marley Spiral Target nozzle is an injection molded polypropylene unit consisting of two parts-the main body with integral target diffuser and a Snap in inserts or hole covers.
Target-type cooling tower spray head is mainly used in cooling tower systems. By evenly distributing water to the packing layer, it achieves efficient heat dissipation. Here are its core features and applications:
1. Core Design Features
Material: Made of PP or ABS engineering plastics, which are corrosion-resistant, non-clogging, and have a long service life (normal service life can reach 20 years)
Flow Control: The flow rate of the 90% nozzle is within a tolerance of ±5% of the average flow rate, and the remaining 10% is within a tolerance of ±10%, ensuring uniform water distribution across the entire tower
Low Pressure Design: The outlet pressure only requires 0.15 MPa, with low water head loss, suitable for countercurrent towers and cross-flow towers
2. Application Scenarios
Cross-flow Tower: Equipped with gravity spiral target-type spray heads, the water flows through the rotating chamber and forms a canopy-like water curtain, enhancing the heat dissipation effect of the packing
Counter-flow Tower: Equipped with NS pressure-type spray heads, directly spraying water onto the packing layer
Industrial Scenarios: Suitable for high-temperature working conditions such as cooling water in power plants and circulating water in chemical industries
