What is SMC material?(SMC tank also called FRP,GRP tank)
1. Sheet Molding Compound is a fiber-reinforced material, which consists primarily of a thermosetting resin glass fiber.
2. SMC is a high tech material that is used in the manufacturing process in most of our products ranges.
3. The advantage of SMC include, high impact compressive, flexural and tensile strength along with temperature stability.
4. SMC has low profile, low shrink for excellent surface appearance and painting.it's color pigmentable and has excellent
chemical and electrical resistance varied to provide insulation, conductivity or anti static properties.

1.GRP water tank panel

The panel is made of fiberglass reinforced plastic. The size of the panel is : 1000*1000mm,1000*500mm,
500*500mm. The thickness of the panel mainly includes: 5mm-16mm,etc. It is different according to the tank dimension.

2. Flanges

The sectional panels shall be pressed to double flanges at the angles of 45 degree and 90 degree to the face of the
plate on four sides.

3. Reinforcement Method 
 All tanks are internally braced with angle stays to endure the rigidity of the tank when filled with the water. TheTop panel is supported by top panel support, which shall be made of stainless steel grade 304 or 316 materialaccording to requirement.
 
 4. Accessories
1. Bolt. nut & washers stainless steel 304 material.
2. Sealing material Non-toxic P.V.C foam tape shall be used in between the joints.
3. Covers The tank cover shall be constructed from 1.2mm to 3.0mm of thickness stainless steel 304 material according to the requirement.
4.  Ladders and Level Indicator: Internal & external ladder shall be made of stainless steel grade 304 material.
