Round cooling tower fill is a very important part in round cooling tower.
Its function is to distribute hot water evenly, to extend the hot water residence time and to increase the heat exchange area, thus to help reduce the water temperature.
The material can be PP or PVC, and the color can be white, green, blue and black. It is with the feature of high temperature resistance, anti-aging, excellent performance, UV resistance and long service life.
Cooling tower filling, also named as cooling tower fill media, or cooling tower fill pack, or cooling tower infill, or cooling tower filler, is made of PVC or PP plain plate, hot pressed in a certain mould and produced with different designs and sizes.
It is a media located in the middle or bottom of the cooling tower. Some cooling towers would be full of the fill media, some would have half and half of the fill media, and some large cooling towers would be installed 1 layer of the fill media in the bottom.
It is widely used in cooling towers, especially in industrial cooling towers, to increase the contact area between hot water and air and to extend the time of water flow, thus to help reduce the water temperature quickly.
Due to the special application environment, the cooling tower fill is with the feature of light weight, high strength, corrosion resistance, large contact area and long service time.
Cooling tower fills are packed in bundle, or by pallet, or by wooden case.
In order to save the shipping cost, we advise to glue the fills in customer's site. When it finished gluing, customers can cut
their certain block size to suit for their square brand cooling tower. Please pay more attention to the following things in the gluing:
* Please do not expose the PVC fill under the strong sunshine to avoid any deformed. If the outside temperature is higher than 40 degree, the PVC film fill will be deformed within 1-2 hours under the strong sunshine. No matter it is 100% new PVC or recycle PVC, the strong sunshine will deform it very fast.
* Please do not use the airtight or air impermeability material packing the PVC fill, such as the transparent plastic film or bubble plastic film. That will keep the PVC fill in a higher temperature without any cool air come in and may bring some deformed.
* Please do not use the PVC cooling tower fill if the water temperature is more than 60 degree.
