Product Description
Drift Eliminators, made out of rigid PVC, are designed to remove entrained particles from air steam efficiently, with minimum pressure drop, thereby reducing the fan power requirement when the air passes through the Drift Eliminator.
Water droplets are separated from the air drift at the three direction change points on the drift eliminator.
For Crossflow tower applications, the almost vertical water conduits provided by the SPC 100 drift eliminator remove the water droplets out of the drift eliminator area and return them back into the tower and does not allow any re-entry.
The special locking pin arrangement for SPC-100 facilitates quick and simple assembly at site

Cooling tower drift eliminator are used to control water loss from a cooling tower by limiting the amount of circulating water droplets that are emitted with the exhaust air of the tower. Since drift droplets contain the same chemical and particulate matter of the circulating water from which they originate, they can cause numerous detrimental effects on surrounding equipment and the environment. The cooling tower industry uses drift rate to compare drift eliminator performance, a relationship that correlates droplet capture efficiency to the water circulation rate in a tower. drift eliminators are specifically designed to achieve maximum drift removal efficiency in both crossflow and counterflow tower applications with various product options available to minimize pressure drop, drift loss, cost, or a combination of all three

Feature of Water drift eliminator:
1). Its rate of drift is less than 0.001% of the circulating water flow rate, which is merely one fifth of the allowance value stipulated in GB7190.2-2008.The lower rate of drift helps to prolong the service life of fan due to decrease contact between the fan blade and the moist air, and helps to decrease the usage of chemical.
2). Lower rater of drift helps to reduce the impact to the boundary environment.
3). Its resistance is about 0.8mmH2O at 2.8m/s air velocity. Low resistance decreases the power consumption of fan, and reduces the cost.
4). Made of advanced PVC with additive to improve the performance of resistance ageing and anti-ultraviolet, its design life is 20 years.
5). Assembly with plug-in method increases rigidity and makes the assembly easier.
